Bryan Jones is a native Texan and three-time graduate of the University of Texas. He drew inspiration from his rescued yellow lab, Jazzy, who loved exploring new places. Bryan lives in Austin with his wife and two daughters.

Bob Leland
Illustrator
Bob Leland is a native of College Station with a deep love for Texas. A self-described Renaissance man, he has enjoyed roles in landscape architecture, coaching, and teaching art. His passion for Texas's beauty inspired him to illustrate Jazzy Explores Texas.

Chief Exploration Officer
Jazzy, aka Jasper, was a pound puppy that found her calling exploring Texas. With a love of food (taffy, hamburgers, steak), a passion for fetch and swimming, and a hatred of squirrels 🐿️, she was the definition of a Good Girl.
